KBC Annual Retreat: Wild & Wonderful

We’re fresh off of our 2019 annual retreat in beautiful Canaan Valley, WV and feeling very fortunate!

Rain threatened our all-outdoors trip in the days leading up to the retreat (can you say cabin fever?!) but it miraculously held off and we had amazing weather.

And we’re talking serious outdoors, people — rock climbing, clay shooting, zip lining, and building a human-sized trap in the middle of the woods. Because you never know, right?

The trip gave our team an opportunity to work together and compete to saw branches, tie knots, navigate and even build fires at Mountaineer Wilderness.

Many of us tested our fear of heights and experienced incredible views while exploring the canopies and crags of Nelson Rocks.

Of course, we also did laid-back-mountain-weekend things like play corn hole and have evening jam sessions. Country Roads never sounded so good!

Getting away from the office and taking time to connect is always better in the great outdoors!
